Lawns – so it’s a busy time on your lawn in October, but here’s a tip to make life easier! For those final mowings of the season, use the mower to shred the leaves and add organic humus to the lawn – it saves you the problem of sweeping them up!

Ah, January — a fresh start, a clean slate, and a whole year ahead to get that lawn looking fabulous!
At last the weather seems to be improving and not before time!
So much rain this spring! Trouble is, it isn’t just the rain, it’s the poor light that goes with it. Young plants struggle to grow. Nature though is wonderful thing and as we approach the longest day of the year the improving light now will soon push along young plants growth!

April arrives and with it, if the weathermen are to be believed, some real signs of spring weather! Like a good deal of the country, here in Devon the rainfall has been remarkable.
At least we shouldn’t have any hosepipe bans this summer!
