If you are reading this, you have survived the heatwave! Adopting a continental way of life and not rushing around so much has had to be the way to go as much as possible during the record-breaking temperatures. It’s been unbearable, thank goodness it’s cooled down and we have had a bit of rain. Not that it really makes a difference to the water table, but it provides a little moisture. This is really an ideal time to water. Like I said last month, if it is so dry any water will just run off. If the ground or pot isn’t bone dry it will absorb.Â
Summer is keeping us waiting but it’s almost here! Last year the paddling pools and sun loungers were out and the grass was dried to a crisp. This year we have lush green grass but the patio furniture feels like it’s not seen the light of day for an age!Â
Welcome to summer! We have been treated to some beautiful weather and the lovely long days have allowed us bonus garden time! Chilling out alone or spending time with friends and family outdoors is a perfect way to relax and switch off.Â
