TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

The "Register your purchase of a 48V portable product or lawn mower and receive a second 48V battery free of charge” is a promotional campaign organised by STIGA Ltd, having its registered office in Unit 8 Bluewater Estate, Bell Close Plympton, Plymouth, Devon, PL7 4JH (hereinafter, the “Promoter”). 

Please note, the company STIGA Ltd encompasses the STIGA, Mountfield and ATCO brands

 

The scope of the Promotion is to give Customers a free 2Ah battery/4Ah battery as a Prize, upon the registration of the Promoted Product, in addition to the battery purchased with the Promoted Product.

The Promotion is subject to the following terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions"). 

By submitting the Claim Form, the Customer fully accepts the following Terms and Conditions of the Promotion.

 

DEFINITIONS

 

Within these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the following meanings:

Claim Form: the claim form that the Customer must complete and submit to the Promoter within the Registration Deadline in order to be eligible for the Prize.

Customer: a natural person who:

(a)                 is at least 18 years old;

(b)                 is residing in Great Britain;

(c)                 purchased, during the Purchasing Period, a Promoted Product from a STIGA dealer or via the Website, without returning the Promoted Product within fourteen (14) days of purchase; and

(d)                 is an individual consumer making a purchase for personal, non-commercial use only.

Promotion: this promotional campaign called “Register your purchase of a 48V portable product or lawn mower and receive a second 48V battery free of charge”.

Promoted Product: a Mountfield product powered by a 48V battery.

Prize: depending on the size of the Promoted Product, either (1) Stiga Battery, E420 2Ah - SKU  271012004/ST1, worth £109.00, including VAT for all handheld products (excluding chainsaw), or (2) Stiga Battery, E440 4Ah – SKU 274014004/ST1, worth £142.00, including VAT, which are listed under Annex 1.

Purchasing Period: the period between 12:00am on 1^st April 2025 and 11:59pm on 31^st May 2025 (included), during the Customer must purchase a Promoted Product to be eligible for the Prize.

Registration Deadline: within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase of the Promoted Product by the Customer.

Territory: Great Britain.

 

The Customer’s right to the Prize is subject to the following conditions.

 

1    HOW TO APPLY FOR THE PROMOTION 
1.1    In order to be eligible for the Prize, the Customer shall apply for the Prize according to the application procedure below.
Prize request procedure:

Before the Registration Deadline:

1.2    The Customer shall enter the applicable Website and click on the "FREE 48V battery" page or use the QR code found on promotional campaign material.  
1.3    The Customer shall register the purchase of the Promoted Product on the Website by populating the required fields and submitting the necessary documents as requested in the Claim Form.
1.4    Once this process has been successfully completed, the Customer will receive confirmation that their Claim Form has been sent. 
1.5    Any Claim Form submitted after the Registration Deadline has passed will not qualify the Customer for the Prize.

2    PRIZE DELIVERY PROCEDURE
2.1    If the conditions set forth above are met and the documentation provided is valid, the Customer can expect delivery of the Prize to be made in accordance with applicable terms and conditions published on the Website, free of charge, within 180 days from the date of submitting the Claim Form.

3    PRIZE-RELATED TERMS 
3.1    The Prize is non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for monetary value or any other item. If the Prize is faulty upon delivery, the Promoter will repair or replace the Prize free of charge.
3.2    The Promoter shall not be liable for the submission by the Customer of any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for any failure by the Customer to submit the Claim Form as a result of any technical and/or human error. In case of failure to deliver the Prize due to incorrect/incomplete/inaccurate address, the shipping order will be cancelled, and the Customer will forfeit their right to the Prize.
3.3    The Customer acknowledges that Promoted Products which are second-hand, or replacements are expressly excluded from the Promotion.
3.4    The Promoter may substitute the prize with another STIGA product of equal value in case the original Prize is no longer available.

4    NOTICES
4.1    To the Customer:
All communications relating to this Promotion will be made at the telephone numbers and/or the e-mail addresses provided by the Customer during the registration process. 
It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that the contact details provided are accurate and active. Where the Customer's contact details are inaccurate or inactive, the Customer may lose the right to participate in the Promotion and/or claim the Prize.

5    PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION
5.1    The Customer, by participating in this Promotion, acknowledges that the processing of personal data will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of applicable UK legislation regarding the processing of personal data; acknowledges and accepts the Privacy Notice available on the STIGA Website.

6    LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
6.1    The Promoter assumes no responsibility for the unavailability of the Websites or any related links, nor for any technical errors or issues or defects, which may prevent the Customer from accessing and/or submitting the Claim Form. The Promoter is not liable, to the extent permitted by law, for any damages, losses, or data deletions caused by technical malfunctions, delays, viruses, or similar issues.

7    MISCELLANEOUS
7.1    THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS WELL AS TO EXTEND AND/OR CANCEL THE PROMOTION AT ANY TIME WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE AND WITHOUT CAUSE. ANY CHANGES MADE TO THESE PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS WILL BECOME EFFECTIVE FROM THE MOMENT OF PUBLICATION ON THE STIGA WEBSITE.
7.2    Should single provisions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. 
7.3    The Parties expressly agree that rights and obligations under this Contract will be governed by the laws of England. The Parties agree that the Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction any claim or matter arising out of these Terms and Conditions.
7.4    All attempts at fraudulent use and external hacking of the Website may constitute offences liable to criminal prosecution. If the Customer who, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, may be eligible for the Prize by means and instruments deemed to be suspicious, fraudulent, or in breach of the normal conduct of the Promotion, they shall not be eligible to receive the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right, in the terms deemed most suitable, and in compliance with applicable legislation, to restrict and prevent any initiative intended to circumvent the system designed.

NOTE: This Promotion cannot be combined with other STIGA promotions and can only be redeemed once per Customer.
