The twin-cylinder Stiga engine is a powerhouse and when combined with the 98cm twin blade cutting deck and fully hydrostatic transmission, makes the 1638H a must-have lawn tractor!
A foot pedal controls the speed of the tractor, the cutting blades are engaged and disengaged at the flick of a switch through an electronic clutch and a buzzer sounds when the capacious clippings collector is full – making it a delight to use.
If emptying the generous 240-litre grass catcher from the comfort of the driver’s seat is just too much effort you can fit a mulching plug (available as an optional extra) to finely cut the clippings and discharge them back onto the lawn as you mow. This adds vital nutrients back into the lawn, making the 1638H Twin highly efficient.
Visibility is superb from the driver’s seat and anti-scalp wheels ensure a superb finish for your lawn. And it looks great! Add a tow hitch and a whole new world of accessories opens-up making this garden tractor versatile and durable.
The underside of the deck needs to be kept clean to maintain optimum cutting performance and avoid the deck rusting – a handy washing link will allow you to clean your deck after each cut quickly and efficiently.
A 5-year manufacturer's warranty is included with this mower (T&C's apply). Battery charger, mulching plug and tow hitch are included.
