The Mountfield HP185 is a great hand-propelled, petrol-driven mower. The reliable Stiga 139cc ST140 Autochoke engine and the 46cm cutting width combine to produce a hard-working, easy to use dependable mower.
It has a hard-wearing robust steel deck, skid plate which reduces scalping of the lawn and a centralised lever to adjust the cutting height through 6 positions, depending on the length of grass you are cutting, ranging from 22-65mm.
The large 60-litre grass collector comes with a bag full warning indicator so you can see when it needs emptying. To save time and to add valuable nutrients to your lawn, simply fit the mulching plug (supplied with the mower) and clippings are finely cut and redistributed back onto the lawn surface as you mow. The handles also fold down for easy storage and it comes with a 2-year warranty.
