The Mountfield website is operated by GGP UK Limited the distributor of Mountfield branded products in the UK. This website is aimed solely at users who access it from the UK mainland.
As a user you acknowledge your use of this website and any purchase of products is subject to the terms and conditions listed below.
We reserve the right to make changes to the website and these terms and conditions at any time.
 

Purchase of Products
Orders can be accepted for delivery to UK mainland addresses only.
The price you pay is the price displayed on the website at the time we receive your order. All prices shown are inclusive of VAT.
On receipt of your payment we will confirm acceptance of your order by an email sent to the address you have given on your order. Acceptance of your order creates a legally binding contract between us. We reserve the right not to supply you at our discretion.
Title to products purchased on this website will pass to you on delivery provided that we have received payment in full for the products.
 

Delivery
There is no delivery charge to UK mainland with the exception to some areas in Scotland.

Dealer Delivery / Reserve & Collect
All ride on and petrol operated products will be delivered fully assembled and ready for use by your Mountfield outlet.
Contact details of your Mountfield outlet will be supplied with your order acknowledgement. They will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient delivery/collection date.
Delivery will be made within 28 days of the date of purchase and in most cases within 7 working days.
 

Free Next Day Delivery
All next day delivery petrol lawnmowers will be pre delivery inspected before dispatch, some home assembly will be required on delivery. All orders received by 3.00pm on day of purchase (excluding weekends) will be dispatched for delivery on the next working day. Details of the local Service agent will be issued with your delivery .
All Mains electric products and accessories will be delivered by a third party courier, some home assembly will be required. All orders received by 3.00pm on day of purchase (excluding weekends) will be dispatched for delivery on the next working day. 

We will endeavour to deliver your order on the next working day however, please allow up to two working days as this free service is not guaranteed.  Delivery will be between 9am and 6pm no time specifications can be applied.

Delivery to some parts of Scotland and offshore UK addresses may incur carriage, please call for quote.
We do not deliver to Ireland.

Cancellations and Returns
You have the right to cancel your order at any time before delivery. If you wish to do so you can contact us by phone on 0870 240 1825 or by email to info@mountfield-online.co.uk
We have a 14 day money back guarantee and will exchange or refund any products returned in their original condition with proof of purchase to your Mountfield outlet.

Next Day Delivery
We offer a 30 day period from point of delivery during which time you are free to examine the goods received. If you are unhappy with your product for any reason you may return it providing it is boxed in its original packaging and unused. The cost of carriage will be deducted from any refund issued.
All returned products will be examined before any refund is issued. We reserve the right to refuse a refund and recover our costs in the event that a product is returned and found to have been misused in any way.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm. 

Security
Mountfield work in partnership with SagePay to ensure all information you give us during the order process is encrypted before transmission via the World Wide Web. If any other internet user should intercept the communication they will only be able to see it in the encrypted form. Visit www.sagepay.com for more information.

Warranty
All Mountfield products carry our manufacturer’s warranty, the period of which varies according to the product. The warranty period starts from the date of purchase and is conditional on the product being serviced at the recommended intervals by an approved Mountfield dealer.
The warranty covers faults which may occur due to faulty components or workmanship but excludes consumable items, fair wear and tear or defects caused by misuse.
Certain components are covered by their own manufacturer’s warranties. A copy of our full warranty terms and conditions can be obtained on request to the Warranty Department at the address shown below.

Privacy
We will use the information you provide solely for the purposes of processing your order or enquiry.
Details required as part of the payment process for security and validation checks will be passed to Lloyds TSB Cardnet.
Your name, address and telephone number will be passed to your Mountfield outlet to allow them to deliver your order.
Other than the above we will not provide your personal details to any third party.
