The Mountfield website accessible at www.mountfieldlawnmowers.co.uk is operated by GGP UK Limited (“We”) the distributor of Mountfield branded products in the UK. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 01074935 and our registered office address is at Unit 8 Bluewater Estate, Bell Close, Plympton, Plymouth, Devon PL7 4JH. Our VAT number is GB 760 50 78 34.
This website is aimed solely at users who access it from the UK mainland.
As a user you acknowledge your use of this website and any purchase of products through this website is subject to the terms and conditions below. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any products fromn our site. You should understand that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. You should print a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.

How the contract is formed between you and us
After placing an order on our site, you will receive an automated e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail that confirms that the product is in stock and notifying you of the delivery agent (the Shipment of Order Email). The contract between us (Contract) will only be formed when we send you the Shipment of Order Email.
The Contract will relate only to those products whose dispatch we have confirmed in the Shipment of Order Email. We will not be obliged to supply any other products which may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such products has been confirmed in a separate Shipment of Order Email.
We reserve the right to reject any orders received at our sole discretion by notifying you in writing, without incurring any further liability.
Purchase of Products
Orders can be accepted for delivery to UK mainland addresses only. We do not accept orders from individuals outside the UK.
Payment
The price you pay is the price displayed on the website at the time we receive your order, except in cases of obvious error. All prices shown are inclusive of VAT.
Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a Shipment of Order Email.
Payment for all products may be made either by major credit cards or debit cards. You will be required to provide your debit or credit card details when you place an order with us. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion to verify the payment and your identity by asking you to provide additional identification information (e.g. passport details or driving licence details). In the event that we are unable to obtain such information or you are not willing to provide such additional information, we reserve the right to terminate the Contract, by notifying you in writing, without incurring any further liability.
Title to products purchased will pass to you on delivery, provided that we have received payment in full for the products.

There is no delivery charge to UK mainland with the exception of some areas in Scotland.

Dealer Delivery / Reserve & Collect
All ride on and petrol powered products available for Dealer Delivery will be delivered fully assembled and ready for use by your Mountfield authorised dealer. All Reserve & Collect products will be fully assembled and ready for use and available to collect from your local Mountfield authorised dealer.
Contact details of your Mountfield outlet will be supplied in our Shipment of Order Email. They will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient delivery/collection date.
Delivery will be made within 28 days of the date of purchase and in most cases within 7 working days.
Free Next Day Delivery
All next day delivery petrol lawnmowers will be pre delivery inspected before dispatch, some home assembly may be required on delivery. We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that all orders received by 3.00pm on day of purchase (excluding weekends and bank holidays) will be dispatched for delivery on the next working day; with the exception of Fridays where orders will need to be received by 2.00pm. Details of the local service agent will be issued with your delivery.
All Mains electric products, petrol polypropelene chasis mowers and accessories will be delivered by a third party courier, some home assembly will be required. We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that all orders received by 3.00pm on day of purchase (excluding weekends and bank holidays) will be dispatched for delivery on the next working day.
We will endeavour to deliver your order on the next working day however, please allow up to two working days as this free service is not guaranteed. Delivery will be between 9am and 6pm - no time specifications can be applied.
Delivery to some parts of Scotland and offshore UK addresses may incur a carriage charge and we will confirm this in our Shipment of Order E-mail. Alternatively, please call for quote.
We do not deliver to Ireland.

Next Day Before 12pm & Saturday Delivery
All of the above applicable with the exceptions below.
We offer a next day delivery before 12pm service for £12.00 and a Saturday delivery service for £25.00.
All orders received before 3.00pm will be dispatched for next working day delivery, with the exception of Friday where orders need to be received by 2pm. Saturday deliveries will need to be received Friday 2pm.
Unfortunately we cannot offer these services to some parts of Scotland and offshore UK addresses.
Cancellations and Returns
You have the right to cancel your order at any time before delivery. If you wish to do so you can contact us by phone on 0845 6003207 or by email to info@mountfieldlawnmowers.co.uk.
We have a 14 day money back guarantee and will exchange or refund any products returned in their original condition and original packaging together with proof of purchase to your Mountfield outlet.

Next Day Delivery & Satuday Delivery
We offer a 30 day period from point of delivery during which time you are free to examine the goods received. If you are unhappy with your product for any reason you may return it providing it is boxed in its original packaging and unused. The cost of carriage will be deducted from any refund issued.
All returned products will be examined before any refund is issued. We reserve the right to refuse a refund and recover our costs in the event that a product is returned and found to have been misused in any way.

Warranty
All Mountfield products carry our manufacturer’s warranty, the period of which varies according to the product. The warranty period starts from the date of purchase and is conditional on the product being serviced at the recommended intervals by an approved Mountfield dealer. The warranty covers faults which may occur due to faulty components or workmanship but excludes consumable items, fair wear and tear or defects caused by misuse.
Certain components are covered by their own manufacturer’s warranties. A copy of our full warranty terms and conditions can be obtained on request to the Warranty Department at the address shown below.
Privacy
We will use the information you provide solely for the purposes of processing your order or enquiry.
Details required as part of the payment process for security and validation checks will be passed to Lloyds TSB Cardnet.
Your name, address and telephone number will be passed to your Mountfield outlet to allow them to deliver your order.
Other than the above we will not provide your personal details to any third party.
