Quality Great spec on this mower Honda engine Aluminium deck. £ modes mulching , collecting and discharging to rear. Starts with the slightest of pulls.. Just amazing the cut is great in all modes. Like most mulcher mowers does not pick up small leaf litter as well as a non mulching mower. The engine is a Honda GCV160E 4.4HP plenty of low end power. The rpm range is impressive very low to fast. The deck seem to be very thick aluminium.. The mulch must be washed off immediately or it sticks. The mulch plug is a bit of plastic I may buy a spare one.. The handles have a nice feel I would have liked some adjustment for the height of the handles, The adjustment offered is very minimal. The Engine is a proper overhead cam and valve engine not push roods. The cam is a wet cam and I guess you Must use a multigrade such as 10W-30 or 5W-30 oil On the GCV its an integrated head so no head bolts which has better thermal efficiency ,. Regular service so is winter storage preparation etc is a must. The Honda booklet recommends that fuel be drained from the carb over winter from the carb drain plug there is even a flue stop valve! Overall it’s a a very nice piece of kit. Using it is a dream it just eats the grass at ease and a very nice looking mower.

Quality I used to work as a landscape gardener and we used these. Half the price of a Honda mower, but just as good. I'm no longer a landscape gardener having retired 3 years ago but I have had one of these at home for about 4 years and I'm delighted with it. Superb value if you consider the years of service you will get from it.

Quality I really think my mountfield SP555 mower is great value for money; it has a powerful honda engine and a 22" cutting width which allows me to mow the lawn at a fast rate. the grass collector works really well in dry or damp conditions leaving a nice trim finish with little or no clippings left around. if the grass gets a little out of hand or I want to trim the rougher areas the mountfield does it with ease just by removing the grass box; I also use the simple to convert mulching system which means I don't have to get rid of the grass clippings and the lawn looks just as tidy as when I collect. Price was important to me and when I shopped around and compared the Mountfield with other makes I found my machine was by far the best value offering a 5 year warranty plus a free 20 year anti corrosion warranty on the cutter deck.

Quality I use mowers and cut acres of grass and I can tell you this is a proper mower, I have found nothing which collects better and the finish is great also when mulching instead of collecting, it always starts first time and mines nearly 10 years old!
