The M64 PD lawnmower has all of the features and benefits of the SP535 with a few added extras.

This model is powered by the Mountfield RM55 OHV engine which features a cast iron cylinder liner for extended engine life. The M64 PD also features a 4 speed change-on-the-move transmission, which is exellent in tight areas as the mower speed can be varied between 2.6km/h and 5.3km/h.

The cutting height is adjusted with 9 preset positions operated by a single lever between 25mm and 75mm.  This mower also features our 3-in-1 Combi System, which means it can either colllect, rear discharge or, with the mulching plug inserted, mow in multiclip mode.

Mulching grass is a great feature, it saves so much time and can make mowing the lawn more than 30% quicker, as there is no need to keep going to the tip to empty clippings.  Mulched clippings are blown down into the turf and are not noticeable provided the grass is cut regularly and not on the lowest setting.  Some owners prefer to collect grass cuttings on areas close to the house to be certain that children or pets don’t carry them inside and then use the mulching facility on all the other areas.

Switching between collection or mulch modes is extremely simple and takes less than a minute. To mulch just remove the collector, insert the mulching plug into the discharge chute and replace the collector.  To return to collection simply reverse the procedure.

Mulching the grass allows the clippings to be recycled improving the soil as they decompose forming a natural fertiliser high in potash and nitrogen. You will notice a marked improvement in your grass as this fertiliser takes effect over the course of the cutting season.

Supplied with a 70 litre collector and mulching kit.  With a 53cm cutting width the M64 PD is suitable for larger gardens up to 55m x 55m.
